Jonathan, in some ways, has always been an actor and performer at heart. Although he only truly began acting his freshman year of high school, Jonathan has always had a fascination with becoming characters ever since he could walk. In his childhood, he would wear costumes any chance he could and terrorize neighborhood kids by pretending to be a superhero, or police officer, or pirate, and has held true to that in adulthood.

Despite a rather brief career in the performing arts so far, Jonathan has been featured in countless productions in and around the Midwest. Some of his most notable roles include the ensemble It’s A Grand Night For Singing! performed at the Lexington Opera House, Cliff Bradshaw in the Tony Award Winning Cabaret, and Mr. Hornsby in Band Geeks!, the latter of which he was nominated for a 2018 Columbus BroadwayWorld Regional Award.

While primarily an actor, Jonathan is also a trained singer and experienced writer, having written several unpublished short works throughout his career. He is also an amateur musician, with specialities in saxophone, piano, and ukulele. He fancies himself somewhat of a comedian as well, having been a part of the University of Kentucky’s Improv Comedy Troupe and Stand Up Comedy Writer’s Club for two years.

Jonathan is always eager for new opportunities and challenges, and never settles for less. As his father as always told him “God lays the paths ahead of you, but you choose them. And it’s the one you choose that determines who you are.”
